We can feel a sense of kinship with Amitabha Buddha through looking at images of him or the poetry written about him. Through the arts we engage our heart in a joyful encounter with Amitabha. The delights of this connection have inspired a flourishing of the arts in every culture into which the Pure Land teachings of Buddhism have spread widely.
